I walk. By myself when possible, without noise or disruption. I use these times to notice what I am experiencing and from these wanderings, a lexicon of meaning emerges.
Using photography, found objects, historical photos and documents, these digital paintings result - a kind of Jungian exhumation of what we know and what we will never know.
In the quest to see, to notice, to experience...one must travel through place, time and memory. Anything can have meaning, but how we stitch together the remnants and the randomness of our lives is where we find our greatest wonder.
